So take my advice and take time to get to know Evernote, and pay the small yearly fee, its so worth it. Was it worth the time, of course, but it only reinforced the time I have spent adding notes and clips into Evernote, the bills and snippets of info, lecture notes, and my favourite, photo clips from books, and library shelfs, the OCR works a treat on book binding. So One note is off the radar, and I am full time on Evernote again, The clipper works a treat, and I save so much to various folders I have and tags work so well in finding stuff. So am I inclined to move away from the paid for Evernote, to the free Onenote, so far it does not even come close, and with the update I received this morning linking to my Google Drive account, its a no brainer, it took seconds to link and even less to add a spreadsheet link. In comparison, within Evernote, I have always been able to load what I wanted to any of the apps and expect to see it there in all the other devices very quickly.

Searching the net, I found this was a high discussion point for the Mac community. One Note has the same suite of Desktop, iPad and iPhone apps so I tried to download them all and load, and here came the first problem, first the iPad app took an age to load, although the iPhone was relatively pain free and quick, but neither would link to the desktop version and all the files and notes I loaded. Now let me make it clear, I have been using Evernote since the very early days, but thought it was time to take a peak outside and see what else there was and OneNote from Microsoft kept coming up. I have for the past couple of weeks, been trailing Evernote, against OneNote.
